The 10K Nocturna-Memorial Toni Herreros, held last Saturday on Gandia beach, was a great success with the participation of nearly 1,500 runners and lively atmosphere along the Marítim Neptú promenade and other coastal areas. Luis Agustín Escriche, from Clínica Alejandro Sanz Club, claimed victory in the Senior Male category with a remarkable time of 30:58 and an impressive pace of 3:05 per kilometer. In the Senior Female category, Sara Benedi Manrique from Running Zaragoza Club crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 36:30 and a pace of 3:39 per kilometer.

In addition, the best runners in the male and female Promise categories were awarded, with Alejandro Sanvalero Sanchis from CA La Rabosa and Nerea Gallach Iñiguez from CA Alto de la Cruz Vallada as the respective winners. The event was attended by the Mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto Part, the Councilor for Sports, Lydia Morant Varó, and other members of the municipal corporation, as well as the widow of Toni Herreros, Amparo Victoria, his daughter, and family, in honor of the legacy left by this outstanding athletics coach and beloved athlete.
