The Chair arises due to the recent growth of the interest about another type of tourism and due to the search of an improvement in tourist activities in the city of Gandia. That is why it has opted for the promotion and development of various activities and events that fit the motto of the chair: tourism, science and innovation. The development of these activities can be carried out thanks to the collaboration with the Gandía City Council.
OUR PURPOSE
This chair is the framework for collaboration between the UPV and Gandia City Council for the development of activities related to tourism in the city of Gandia.
The aim is to channel as many initiatives as possible within the framework of the agreement and the purpose of the chair to encourage the analysis, research and promotion of teaching activities in relation to the development of digitization, intelligence and sustainability. of the tourist activity for the city of Gandia.
