With motive of the Gastronomic Sample, from the 16th to 23th of September, Oliva celebrates popular culinary events. This week rice will have the spotlight, week in wich twelve bars and restaurants will offer various dishes with this element as it’s main ingridient.

Along with the week’s theme, the 16th of September the 9th “pebrera farcida” contest will be held, with the help of the Turism department, who will provide chairs and tables to the public that go to the contest to taste the stuffed peppers for a 1€ symbolic price. At 10:00 h of the same 16th there will be a workshop for the youth wich will teach them how to make another of the typical dishes of the place, the “coques”.

Oliva Turismo will also celebrate Paella’s World Day wenesday the 20th, in wich Tot Arròs will prepare a giant paella for all 400 people that buy their tickets at Tourist Info the 15th, 16th, 18th and 19th of September.
