The mayor of Gandia repeats last year’sdecision to advance the start of its Fira i Festes providing a total of 8 days of festivities in which all kinds of activities will be chained for the Gandians and visitors who approach the streets of the capital of the Safor.
Mayor José Manuel Prieto, along with Culture Councillor Balbina Sendra, announced a schedule designed to consolidate a change that began last year. And it is that, as Balbina Sendra commented “There are activities for all audiences, every hour and every day.“, recommending in turn the visit to the official page to consult the events scheduled.
And the statements of the councillor are not in vain, as the official figures point to a disbursement of 500,000€ dedicated to the financing of the 83 planned activities: 27 concerts, 17 theatrical functions, 11 sports exhibitions and 12 cultural activities, which was estimated to have contributed a figure of 8 million euros to the trade of Gandia.
