Gandia is preparing to once again host the Global Game Jam, the largest video game creation event in the world. From 26 to 28 January, the Campus of the Universitat Politècnica of Valencia in Gandia will be the local epicenter of this exciting marathon, bringing together students, teachers and professionals passionate about the video game industry.

Since 2013, Gandia Campus has been the home of the Gandia Game Jam, consolidating itself as a meeting and experimentation point in the annual calendar. More than just a challenge, this initiative seeks to motivate the training by offering a unique training experience in the multimedia field for participants, complementing the regulated teaching.

The essence of Gandia Game Jam is based on collaboration and experimentation, where you do not compete, but cooperate to develop a video game in a record time of 48 hours. Professor José Marín-Roig highlights the opportunity that the event offers for all interested parties to try, create, play and share their passion for video games.

The 2024 edition has been recognized with the Innovation Award awarded by the Group Radio Gandia, highlighting the trajectory and the exceptional work of the team of teachers and technicians of the Campus of Gandia. This award underscores the effort needed to organize an event of such magnitude. To participate in this exciting day of creativity, collaboration and fun, it is necessary to register through the UPV Permanent Training Centre. The Gandia Game Jam promises three unforgettable days in the fascinating world of video games.
