The Municipality of Valencia, through its brand Valencia Turisme, together with the municipalities of Cullera and Gandia, are actively participating in the prestigious ITB International Tourism Fair in Berlin 2024.

The main objective is to consolidate the provincial tourist brand in the German market, promoting the positioning of Valencia as an innovative and sustainable tourist destination. Pedro Cuesta, Member of Parliament for Tourism, emphasizes the importance of this participation for the German market and to highlight the attractive and innovative proposals that the province offers.

The Centre of Tourism of the Diputació de València has worked hard to create new tourist experiences and innovative products, such as MICE tourism, cruise tourism and cycling. These efforts are reflected in the range of proposals presented at the fair, which seek to capture the interest of the demanding German market and promote the growth of tourism in the region.

Valencia Turisme, together with the municipalities of Cullera and Gandia, is presented as co-exhibitors in its own space within the stand of the Valencian Community, under the umbrella of Turespaña, jointly with Visit Valencia, Alicante Turismo, Costa Blanca, among others. The cultural and cycling route of the Camino del Cid is also promoted, highlighting the diversity and wealth of the Valencian tourist offer.

The ITB in Berlin is recognized as one of the most important tourist fairs in the world, along with the World Travel Market in London and FITUR in Madrid. The German market has experienced a remarkable growth in the Comunitat Valenciana in the last year, becoming the second most relevant issuer market.
