The employment fair held at the Campus of Gandia of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has been a huge success, with the participation of more than 300 young people and the presence of 44 local business entities.

During the opening of the event, Jesús Alba, director of the campus, highlighted its importance as a strategic meeting space between companies, institutions, students and graduates, stressing its role in the transfer of talent and knowledge.

The rector of the UPV, José E. Capilla, emphasized the university’s commitment to society and the training appropriate to the needs of the students and the company. In addition, provincial and local authorities, including the mayor of Gandía, José Manuel Prieto, highlighted the importance of university-business partnerships for economic and social progress.

The fair, which brought together companies from various sectors such as technology, tourism, agriculture and financial services, provided students and graduates with a wide range of career opportunities. The organization highlighted the goal of building bridges between university classrooms and the labour market, facilitating internship and employment opportunities for students.

The event included parallel activities such as interview labs and curriculum counselling, as well as a central lecture by Ángel Alba, an expert in strategic innovation. The successful participation in this edition underlines the importance of these events in linking business needs with professional competence, especially within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Campus of Gandia.
