The Municipality of Valencia, through its brand Valencia Turisme, has again participated in Turexpo Galicia, the main tourist event of Galicia that was held in Silleda (Pontevedra) until last Sunday, June 2.
The objective is to encourage the Galician tourist flow towards the province of Valencia, taking advantage of the direct air connection between the two autonomous areas. Pedro Cuesta, deputy of Tourism, highlighted the interesting tourist offer that is presented at this event.
Valencia Turisme shared exhibition space with the municipalities of Gandia and Cullera, under the umbrella of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana. In an area of one hundred square meters, visitors can discover the tourist proposals of these localities.
Turexpo Galicia, aimed at both professionals and the general public, has consolidated itself as a relevant event in the national tourist calendar. In its thirteenth edition, in addition to the exhibition, a tourist hiring scholarship was held aimed at the main tour operators. The event covered a wide range of sectors, from hotel chains to transportation and tourist services companies.
