The beach of Gandia is preparing to celebrate the night of St. John, considered the “most magical of the year”.
In addition to the official programming of the consistory, the beach chiringuitos have organized a number of activities that include live music, performances and fireworks.
The delegate of Tourism and Culture, Balbina Sendra, highlights that this festival is much awaited both by the citizens of Gandia and by the visitors. The night of St. John marks the start of the high tourist season and is an opportunity to show tourists how they celebrate their holidays in the city.
The program for St. John’s night in Gandia includes:
- 22:30 hours: musical animation along the Maritime promenade of Neptune. The Batukada Kum Kum Tra will start from the area of the Ducal towards the fireplace, while the musical group Ves i Gitat of Beniopa will do the same from the Moll dels Borja.
- 00:00 hours: Launch of a castle of fireworks from the North of the Port.
- 00:05 hours: Creme of the fire, which will be located between the streets Balearic Islands and Canary Islands.
- 00:15 hours: At stage 1, located on Alcoi Street, there will be an Indie-Remember musical performance by the Dj’s Miss Glass & Gulag1.
