This celebration, which will take place on March 27th, offers activities for all ages, highlighting the theatre as a key element in attracting both residents and visitors to the city.
The city of Gandia is preparing to commemorate the World Theatre Day with a varied program, presented by the delegate director of Culture, Balbina Sendra, along with the representatives of the Federation of Amateur Theatre in Gandia, Toni Albors and Judith Martínez.
Sendra stressed the importance of this celebration as an opportunity to highlight local talent and promote culture as an economic and tourist engine. In addition, he invited the community to participate in the planned activities, thereby fostering appreciation and knowledge of the cultural richness of Gandia.

The program of the World Theatre Day will begin with the reading of a manifesto in front of the Serrano Theatre, followed by performances by renowned local companies. There will be guided tours to the Serrano Theatre and theatrical tours through the Historic Centre, accompanied by live music. The day will culminate with a series of performances in different places of the city, offering entertainment for all tastes and demonstrating the high quality of the amateur theatre groups of Gandia.
This celebration is expected not only to entertain the public, but also to highlight the city’s rich cultural heritage and promote local talent in the theatre, consolidating Gandia as a vibrant and attractive cultural destination.
