Gandia Tourism Councillor Balbina Sendra has announced the programming of ‘Gandia a la Mar’, an initiative that will take place from June 28th to September 8th.
The aim is to consolidate the activities that are carried out on the beach of Gandia and offer a comprehensive view of the tourist destination, fidelizing the summer visitors and highlighting the local traditions. Although initially only activities have been presented for the summer, ‘Gandia a la Mar’ intends to remain throughout the year.
The programme includes a wide variety of events with 9 art activities, 14 musical, 63 sports, and 11 cinema to the sea projections. In addition, 16 traditional events related to the Falls and Holy Week have been planned. As a novelty, 27 activities have been organized for children and their families, and a total of more than 140 events are planned, including concerts, exhibitions, yoga classes, and pyrotechnic shows.
Sendra highlighted the decentralization of activities to animate different areas of the beach, responding to the demands of merchants and neighbours.
