Gandia anticipates an exciting weekend with the Mediterranean ESEI Cup, a football tournament that will take place from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st March.
With the expectation of attracting about 4,500 people among participants and families, the councilman of Sports, Jesús Naveiro, and the delegate of Tourism, Balbina Sendra, have presented this sporting event.
The tournament will have 107 participating teams in various categories, including international teams from countries such as Venezuela. The city is proud to be a reference in the organization of sports competitions, consolidating itself as an attractive destination for this type of events.

The matches will take place in several localities nearby, with facilities such as the football field of Roís de Corella, the stadium Guillermo Olagüe and the rugby field available for the matches. The tournament will be divided into a group phase on Friday, followed by qualifying matches on Saturday and the grand finale on Sunday.
A significant economic impact is expected for the city, with an estimated cost of around one million euros and 15,000 overnight stays during the event. Gandia is preparing to offer a full experience to visitors during Holy Week, with a wide variety of activities planned in parallel to the football tournament.
