The tourist season in Gandia begins with the complete opening of the services of its beach, being the first in the Valencian Community to do so

The mayor, José Manuel Prieto, highlights the advance of the season, highlighting the relevance of upcoming events and the recent recognition of the Falles as a Festival of National Tourist Interest.

The beach has been the subject of improvements in recent months to enrich the tourist offer, including the remodeling of paths and improvements to the lighting. Prieto praises the effort of the tourism sector. Balbina Sendra, Councillor of Tourism, plans to keep the tourist season extended, with an occupation forecast of 85% during the Fallas.

This year, the opening of the beach has new features, such as the acquisition of amphibious chairs for people with disabilities, and the installation of 70% of wooden passages. The rescue service will begin on March 15th and the beach tourism offices will open on March 16th.

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has invested 84,000 euros in infrastructures to improve the beaches of Gandia, highlighting its collaboration with the City Council to enhance the tourist attraction of the region.
