The city of Gandia is preparing to host the exciting youth basketball tournament, the Basket Cup, which will once again be the epicenter of youth baseball at the national level.
Organized by QL Sport, the event has become an attraction for families who choose the city as their destination for Easter holidays.
This year’s edition will be even more international, with the confirmation of the participation of teams from India and Lebanon, as explained Balbina Sendra, director-general of tourism. A total of 178 teams, between men and women, will compete in categories ranging from alevin to senior, with the participation of more than 6,000 people during the days of the competition.

The tournament has gained reputation thanks to its excellent organization and sporting quality. Nacho Macipe, CEO of QL Sport, highlighted the high level of satisfaction of the participating clubs, who often ask for the date of the next edition even before the competition ends.
Jesús Ginestar, vice president of Proinbeni UPB Gandia, praised the quality of the tournament, calling it one of the best base basketball tournaments in Spain, with a very high level of play.
