The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), the Gandia City Council and the Safor Salut program have organized the Gandia Health Campus, a two-day event that seeks to attract multidisciplinary talent in the field of health. The Gandia Health Campus is a university hackathon that aims to motivate and inspire students of any degree and university, as well as all those interested in the field of innovation in health, well-being and entrepreneurship.
The event will take place from April 29 to 30 without interruption at the Espai Baladre on Gandia Beach. Both students from different universities and companies from the health sector will participate. All of them will combine learning and solving challenges related to health and well-being. To do this, they will have guides and mentors specialized in ChatGPT, animation with AI, no-Code, creativity, innovation and business models.
During the preparation of the event, it became clear that one of the main objectives of the Campus Salud Gandia is to attract multidisciplinary talent to Gandia and position the city as a Valencian Community eHealth Digital District among university talent. For the hackathon, the collaboration of the Francesc de Borja Hospital has been received, from which the challenges were defined and the documentation and data that will be provided in the competition were compiled.
During the weekend, the participants will combine learning, teamwork and fun while solving a current challenge in the field of health and well-being. There will be rest areas, spaces for toilets and showers, relaxation activities, training, music, food, drinks, snacks and the beach right next door. In addition, there will be prizes and gifts for the people who participate. The Gandia Health Campus is an excellent opportunity to promote innovation in the field of health and well-being, and attract multidisciplinary talent to the city of Gandia.
