Gandia Beach has once again consolidated itself as a reference destination by receiving multiple flags that certify its environmental quality and services.

Among the distinctives obtained are the Blue Flag, Aenor: ISO 14001, AENOR: ISO 9001, Q-ICTE, S-Sustainability, Qualitur, smoke-free beach, cardioprotegida beach and Ecoplayas. These awards place Gandia as a leader in the Valencian Community and among the main beaches of Spain.

At an event led by the mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, along with the autonomous secretary of Tourism, Cristina Moreno, and several members of the municipal corporation, were waved the flags that certify the quality of the beaches. Prieto highlighted that Gandia has renewed the Blue Flag for 38 consecutive years, thanks to the excellent management of services and the quality of its beaches. He thanked the daily efforts of the cleaning staff, the maintenance brigades, the local police, and the hotel and hospitality sectors.

Cristina Moreno praised the work of the local government to keep a clean and well-managed beach, stressing an occupation of 85% in the high season. The Gandia Beach continues to be an example of quality and sustainability in coastal tourism, attracting and loyalizing tourists thanks to its first-class services and exemplary environmental management.
