Next Monday, October 2nd, the official recognition of the Fallas and Holy Week, of the capital of Safor, will be held in the Palau Ducal. The recognition coincides with the day of the patron of Gandia, Francesc de Borja.

José Manuel Prieto, mayor of Gandía, declared that “… it is time to recognize and testify to two of the ways of passing from generation to generation the value of our traditions, of our identity and the importance that these traditions have for the outer projection and the social and economic dimension of Gandia”.
