On the occasion of the celebrations of the Falls in Valencia, Renfe has implemented a special operation to meet the demand of travellers.
A total of 125,000 seats are offered on high-speed and long-distance trains from 14 to 20 March. This increase includes 15,800 additional seats, highlighting 12,000 extra seats for high-speed services between Madrid and Valencia, and 3,800 seats on long-distance trains between Barcelona and Valencia. In total, 47 trains, including Ave, Avlo, Euromed and Intercity, are expected to operate at twice their usual capacity.
Additional seats are distributed mainly in the Madrid-València and Valencia-Barcelona relations, as well as in the services that connect Valencia with other regions, such as Andalusia. Renfe has launched two promotional campaigns to encourage travel, including discounts for groups between 4 and 9 people and special offers to attend the pyrotechnic show of the “Nit del Foc”.
