The Infoday event was held last Thursday, March 30th. During this event, the call for proposals for the IKAT program was presented, which seeks to support SMEs dedicated to maritime and coastal tourism in Europe. This aid aims to contribute to the updated tourism strategy proposed by the European Commission, which focuses on maritime and logistics clusters, tourism, innovation, and water quality control.
During the event, it was explained in detail how SMEs could opt for different services, such as business models, acceleration, open innovation, green and digital transition, financing opportunities, internationalization, and training.
Due to the fact that this grant is focused on the coastal and maritime sector, it can be requested by a wide variety of companies, such as ports, sales and rental businesses, workshops, campsites, restaurants, academies, among many other
