This weekend, the Municipality of Valencia, through its brand Valencia Turisme, was promoting the tourist wealth of the province in the new edition of the fair B-Travel Barcelon
This initiative has the participation of the municipalities of Meliana, Cullera, El Puig de Santa María, Gandia, Tavernes de la Valldigna and Sagunt, which are added as co-exhibitors in the stand of the Valencian Community.
The Deputy of Tourism, Pedro Cuesta, pointed out the importance of this appointment in the national tourist calendar and highlighted the value of the Catalan market for the region. “The Department could not miss this opportunity and, therefore, we are accompanied by a selection of provincial destinations that will surely be very attractive for Catalan visitors,” he explained.

In addition to presenting the general offer of the province, the Department presented tourist experiences linked to the ‘Fem Poble’ Tourism Program against Population. B-Travel, which is held annually in Montjuïc, brings together professionals from the sector and the general public, as well as various companies and entities related to tourism.
The Catalan market represents an important segment for the Valencian Community, being the third national tourist destination for Catalan visitors. These tourists usually choose to travel to the region in the third quarter of the year, mostly by car and staying in hotels, with an average stay of 6.4 days.
