Turespaña’s Dublin office has been awarded as the best provider of services to the tourism sector in Ireland for the second year in a row. These awards recognize the efforts of professionals in the sector and destinations, highlighting excellence in the provision of international travel services.
In 2023, the number of travellers from Ireland to Spain has experienced a remarkable increase of 18.6%, along with an increase in tourism spending of 18.7% compared to the previous year. This growth places Ireland as one of the European markets that has contributed the most to tourism in Spain.
The Irish Travel Industry Awards, awarded by the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA), recognize the commitment and quality of international tourist services, rewarding both destinations and service providers. Spain has highlighted in several categories, including “Best Summer Destination” and “BEST Winter Destinations” for Lanzarote.
Rubén López Pulido, tourism advisor in Dublin, expressed his gratitude for the recognition received and highlighted Spain’s commitment to sustainability in tourism.
