The gardens of the Marquess are preparing to receive the XXIII edition of Marquesa Concerts, a musical event that will take place from May 18th to June 15th, offering a concert program that will start at 21:30.
Balbina Sendra, Governor-General of Culture, highlighted the importance of this initiative, advancing its presentation almost a month to attract more tourists, taking advantage of the influx during the celebrations of the Fair. Sendra commented: “We know that our cycle has a loyal audience in Gandia, but we bet on combining culture and tourism. We want those who have not yet had the opportunity to enjoy it to have more time than ever before to purchase their tickets, which are already available for sale.”
The director of the Marquesa House, Eudald González, noted the commitment to include in the programming emerging talents of the Comunitat Valenciana, highlighting the potential of the selected artists to recognition in renowned festivals.
The program includes the following concerts:
- 18 May: ‘La Maria’ (Free entry)
- 25 May: Guillem Gisbert
- 1 June: ‘Los enemigos’
- 8 June: ‘Triana’
- 15 June: ‘Barón Rojo’
Tickets for each concert have a price of 12 euros, except for ‘La Maria’, which is free. In addition, a discount of 2 euros is offered for those who have the Carnet Jove, pensioner or the Golden Card. Tickets are available at www.instanticket.es and at the ticket desk of the House of Culture, from Monday to Saturday from 11 to 14 hours and from 18 to 20 hours, as well as 30 minutes before each concert.
For those interested in attending all the concerts, a 36 euro fee is offered, with a discount of 6 euros for the holders of the aforementioned tickets. These vouchers can only be purchased in person.
