The AISSA Awards were established in 1997 in order to stimulate and support research by health professionals of the department of Gandía, of the Valencian Health Agency, in three modalities: medicine, pharmacy and nursing

Next Thursday, February 29, the House of Culture of Gandia will be the venue of the twenty-seventh Awards of the Association for Health Research in the Safor (AISSA), an event that promises to be a prominent event in the field of health and research. Organized by AISSA, in collaboration with the City of Gandia, the event will be open to all citizens.

The day will begin with a master lecture on a topic of great relevance in women’s health: menopause in the twenty-first century, which will be under the supervision of Dr. Josep Vicent Carmona, renowned head of the service of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the University Hospital Francesc de Borja. Subsequently, the appointment of the honorary partner of AISSA 2024 will take place, followed by the award ceremony.

This year, the awards will feature some innovations, including the category of best multicenter study and its respective accésit, adding to the usual awards such as best scientific article, best scientific communication and best clinical case. In addition, the award-winning health professionals will have the opportunity to present their projects to the audience, thus consolidating AISSA’s commitment to scientific dissemination and the exchange of knowledge in the community.
